Extended introduction

Loay Elbasyouni is the founder and CEO of AstraQua and an engineer whose career spans electric vehicles, advanced aircraft, spaceflight, and autonomous systems. He led electrical and power-electronics work supporting NASA’s Ingenuity Mars Helicopter, which achieved the first powered, controlled flight on another planet. He later led rocket-engine avionics at Blue Origin. Today, he brings that experience to building AstraQua and to conversations about curiosity, persistence, and turning ambitious ideas into working systems. His talks connect the discipline of engineering with the human experience of learning, contributing, and pursuing a possibility before the outcome is certain.
